The last couple of years, we’ve spent Easter out at Grannie and Paw Paw’s in Oklahoma. We left Friday afternoon and the drive always seems to take forever, but we know how to have a good time!
After we arrived and ate dinner, everyone headed out to burn pasture. Some of them didn’t get back to the house until around 2 AM that night 😁
We had a fun filed day on Saturday; lots of free play, working cattle, egg dyeing, an egg hunt, and lots of good food. And naps for most of the adults!!
You can find Jackson here, on the motorcycle, pretty much the entire time.
The cattle feeding crew, who also scared most of the cattle away 😂
She wanted to help work the cattle so bad this year…still a little small, but she loved watching.
Pretty sure this is one of the reasons I fell in love with him #ladieslovecountyboys
The kids did a good job running the calves through the shoot… Trevor was the MVP this year!
I love seeing all of the unique creations they come up with
Julianna slept through the egg dyeing, but made it just in time for the hunt!
I think the confetti eggs were a huge hit this year!
Aunt Sarahanne always brings each of the kids a little gift and it is super sweet. They get so excited and she gets lots of hugs!
Pretty sure no one saw this coming, and his cousins may have put him up to it. He went in for a hug and bam; confetti all over Aunt Sarahanne’s head. He was so sneaky. Good think his aunt is a good sport!
And then she got attacked by her boys😂
Sunday was so cold, so I completely forgot to get a family photo in our church clothes. Boo! But we loved spending this special weekend with family ❤
