We got up Tuesday morning, feeling way refreshed and super sore. We had about a 4 hour drive to Dripping Springs, so we decided to stop half way in Fredericksburg for lunch. What an adorable little town…would love to come back for a weekend with Justin. The main street was full of shops I didn’t get to check out!
We let the kiddos play for a bit at the downtown playground. I looked over at Justin at one point and noticed these branches behind him and they were sticking out of his head perfectly.
We then headed on towards Dripping Springs to our AIRBNB, with a quick stop at HEB for some taffy, Texas shaped tortilla chips, and a few other essentials. We pulled in and it was just absolutely magical. The kids immediately ran off to explore and I ran off into the house to take some photos!
Some excitement for the pool, which was heated, but still a little too cold for me. Ha!
After they swam, they did some more running around. They had a cute little climbing structure and tons of fun outdoor games.
I forgot to get stuff for s’mores 🤦🏼♀️, so suckers for the win!
Justin took the bigs on a quick hike and Julianna + I stayed back; we were all hiked out!
The next morning, we got packed up while the kids played outside with some other kids that arrived the night before with their family. Wish we could have stayed longer, but so glad we got to stop and rest here. I felt so refreshed for our 3 hour drive back to Dallas .
