Family Vacation | San Antonio {Alamo/Riverwalk}

While we live in Texas, we are making it a goal to explore all of it that we can.  We decided to do a family vacation down to the San Antonio area and we loved it.  For the first part of our trip, we spent 3 nights in San Antonio.  We arrived Saturday and checked into our hotel, made a quick Target run, and experienced a lot of rain, which made us hang in the hotel room the rest of the evening.  On Sunday, we woke up to a hot and sunny day.  First, we headed over to the Alamo.  Jocelyn was the most excited for this because they studied the Alamo this past year.  We also watched Davy Crockett the night before, so they could get a little glimpse of some history before we went.  They all did great and loved seeing the canons.

After that, we walked down to the Riverwalk for lunch and a little walk.

Like mother, like daughter… I love that she loves photography too ❤

We got some ice cream and sat right by the river, watching the boats go by. The boys loved it!

We came back to the hotel and spent some time at the pool and ate dinner. Pretty sure everyone was worn out, because that night we all slept from 9pm – 8am.We spent all day Monday at Sea World. Julianna was amazing; she went all day without having a nap and was such a joy.  I’ll be sharing those photos in another post coming soon, so be on the lookout for part two of our vacation!
