Jackson’s very first elementary school field trip happened today at The Perot Museum of Nature and Science. We ate a brunch on the lawn and climbed the frog statues before we went in to the museum. We also got some exciting news that Jackson’s teacher got engaged the night prior! He was so excited for her, even though I’m pretty sure he wanted to marry her 😜😂
Some fun in the Sports Hall
Our sweet little group and some of Dallas behind them.
Overall I think this was Jackson’s favorite floor. He loves all things electronic and building. Some of the stuff was over our head, but I think if he came back with his dad, they could figure it out! This light thing was pretty cool. They could make a design on the computer and then it showed on on the light wheel when they turned the crank. Jackson wrote out his name, which you can kind of see, but it was hard to capture without a super slow shutter speed.
He of course loved driving the little cars.
And these Magformers were so fun…they played here the longest!
We love his class so much and both of us will be so sad when this school year is over. When we moved here, we weren’t sure what this year would bring, but I couldn’t have picked a better person to teach my son. She gives him all the hugs he needs throughout the day and he just adores her!
