continued from part one…
Friday morning, Justin and I took the boys to their friend’s birthday party. His uncle is a firefighter, so they had it at his station right by TCU.
That afternoon, after nap, we headed down to Fort Worth. We stopped by the Water Gardens and then on to the Stockyards. We watched the longhorns parade down the street, then we went on to watch the Wild West Show, and then to Joe T. Garcia’s for some yummy Mexican food!
Saturday, it was time for Dallas! I wanted to take Lauren to my favorite store first, so we stopped by The Gyspy Wagon. It has the cutest and quirkiest stuff and is a must if you love to shop and are in Dallas. My friend Lindsey told me about it when we moved here and now I try to go if I am in that area. We also stopped by the Dallas Farmer’s Market, which I hadn’t been to yet, and it was bigger than I thought it was going to be! Our last stop was to Klyde Warren Park for lunch from the food trucks and some time for the kids to run off some energy. Jocelyn and Jackson were a bit obsessed with feeding the birds. We love the park here. They still had their fountains on though, so I had to set some boundaries for the kids! 😂
Their hand holding melts my heart!
