We have had such a fun Christmas break so far. Only one more day until the kids go back to school and we get into our normal routine again. My parents, brother, and sister in law have been here visiting us from Atlanta this past week and they just left this morning. We were pretty sad. Jackson really loves his Aunt Lauren. He said his high today was “seeing Aunt Lauren,” and his low was, “Aunt Lauren leaving.” It was pretty cute! We really wished they lived a lot closer. We spent the week relaxing, playing lots of games, and exploring some of Texas.
Julianna was obsessed with this hat my Dad got last year from the antique mall in Derby. It shakes, lights up, and sings an annoying song. She thinks it’s hilarious.
She also loved playing with the nativity. After Christmas, all I could find was baby Jesus and the angel because she had hid the rest of them somewhere.
On Wednesday, my brother and sister in law arrived and we made a Christmas dinner, complete with fried turkey. It was such a pretty day out. Jonah made sure to take advantage of that!
Thursday, we had to take my sister in law and brother to Waco, because they hadn’t been yet. Magnolia was super crowded per usual, but Lauren found some cute stuff. I also took them to my favorite little store called The Findery. Jocelyn brought a long her camera and got some great shots! I am hoping to post more of her work on the blog this year. She is doing a 365 project with me this year!
I will share more about our week in part two…lol so many photos to still share!
