Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

We made it a goal to try to experience as much as we can in the DFW area while we are here. This weekend we decided to do one thing that cost money and another adventure that was free (I will post about that later). Yesterday was our first visit to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. I have heard such great things about it, we ended up buy a season pass because I know we will be back! They have a crazy pumpkin village right now and I knew the kids (and myself) would love it! We first decided to check out the Children’s Adventure Garden. We didn’t make it through all of it because of a time crunch and momma needed to see the pumpkins, so I am excited to take the kids back and explore some more.

While we were in the maze area, we randomly ran into our next door neighbors (and landlords). They told us their daughter had prayed that morning for us to come. That is about the sweetest thing and I love how the Lord listens to even the littlest of prayers. So we got to hang out with them the rest of the time and that was so helpful having someone who knew where they were going. And the kids love each other!

And now pumpkins, everywhere! I was kind of in heaven. I could have taken a million photos had it been later in the day. The sun was still pretty harsh!

This kills me…that sweet little face

So much fun and I know we will be back!
