We celebrated Jackson and Jonah’s upcoming birthdays last evening and it was so much fun! We decided to keep it small, inviting family and a couple of their closest little boy friends. I had so much fun planning this party. We love to camp, hike, and be outdoors, so it was just a given we needed to have a camping party for the boys. We got the perfect evening!
Here was their invite. I saw something similar on Pinterest and just whipped it up in Photoshop!
Scavenger hunt…they had to find a pinecone, stick, leave, acorn, and fools gold. They got a flashlight when they found everything!
The sisters and little brothers crashed the party until it got dark
A year apart…who is older?? Ha 😉
Also a year apart…my kids are short and The Unruhs are tall
Best buds

Time for cake
Counting how old they will be
Present time
Yes, transformers!! He got a lot of them and legos
Thanks for the gifts Nana and Papa!
He got a blue car that he asked for
and gum
and a phone.
Seriously Jonah has the best expressions! He also asked for Applesauce and this was a winner!
Waiting for his present from Mom and Dad
A bike is a 3rd birthday tradition…we started him with a balance bike
He loves it
SO thankful for their friendship.
Tents started going up and it stared to get dark.
Most of the girls left and Justin set up an outdoor movie to watch. We had popcorn and enjoyed Big hero 6 around the campfire. I think everyone slept pretty good.
The boys played as soon as they were up and we ate campfire breakfast, with coffee and hot cocoa and they played some more while dads packed up!
Happy Birthday Jackson and Jonah!!!
